FASHION SHOWS

At Sew So Fresh, fashion shows aren’t just about showcasing garments—they’re opportunities for students to bring together everything they’ve learned in ELA, Math, and Science.

ELA

Our classroom experience is dynamic, creative, and hands-on. Students don’t just complete projects - they produce real, engaging work.

MATH

Students don’t just solve equations on paper—they use math to design, measure, and build. Fractions come alive as they calculate fabric yardage and adjust patterns.

SCIENCE

Students explore how colors are made, why some fabrics soak up dye better than others, and how mixing different materials changes the way cloth feels and stretches.

SEL

Sew So Fresh aligns with the NYCDOE’s Career and Technical Education Initiative, combining fashion design and entrepreneurship to prepare students for real-world success.
